Awaaz Do

The "Awaaz Do" online campaign was launched today to mobilize Indian society to speak up for the more than eight million children currently out of school in the country.
The landmark passing of the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education (RTE) Act 2009 marks a historic moment for the children of India.
For the first time in India's history, children will be guaranteed their right to quality elementary education by the state with the help of families and communities.
Few countries in the world have such a national provision to ensure child-centered, child-friendly education to help all children develop to their fullest potential. An estimated eight million six to 14-year-olds in India were out-of-school in 2009.

Dreams

Once upon a time,
Two sparrows lived in a love sublime.
One engulfed by ambitious pride,
Wanted to travel - far and wide.
He left one day
With hollow words,
Thus, fate split the lover birds.

He soared in the cloudless sky,
She cried in her nest,
Yearning to fly.

Months after months-life was such.
Alas ! he missed her warm touch.
To come back home he yearned by,
And finally he returned to set out for the western sky.

He found the nest filled with snow,
Her remains buried in her woe.
The tears falling eternally true,
He melted into that white hue,
He knelt at her soiled grave,
The stone reflected words few.

It read-"Every has a dreams,
Mine began & ended with you....."

Love All

The setting sun said :
" Who will take up my work ? "

The world heard this and yet remained responseless like a picture.

There was an earthen lamp.
It said :
              " Lord !
I will exert myself to my utmost. "

My Divine Voice

Two little mice fell in a bucket of cream. The 1st mouse quickly gave up & drowned. The 2nd mouse... wouldn't quit. He struggled so hard dat eventually he churned that cream in2 butter & crawled out.

As of this moment,I am that 2nd mouse.
